“Well, well, if it isn’t Millie
Dirken.” Lawrence Bosch leaned against the McDonald’s counter and leered at the
girl behind it. “What a surprise. I wound up a CEO of a mega corporation, and
here you are serving up fast food.”
Millie smiled at him. It wasn’t
hard. The government badge hidden within her McDonald’s employee disguise was
an effective shield against his words.
“Gimme a Big Mac and a large Coke,”
ordered Bosch.
Still wearing her pleasant smile,
Millie handed the man a specially laced cup. One sip, and he would be dead.
“Would you like fries with that?”
