little shove, thought the instructor. He pushed and the man fell into the
water. But he didn’t disappear into Faerie. He thrashed as he went under again
and again.
A great, imposing figure rose from
the water.
“What makes you think we want him?”
The instructor shrugged, watching the complainer struggle. “I guess the lake can have him.”

Bahahahaha. I don't know why the image of him going under again and again gets me, but it does. Nice job showing the whining. (I think it's funny that our characters has a similar complaint. Cold water must be the worst :D)
LOL! I guess the guy will have to learn to show a little more faith before Faerie will let him in. :P
